It is thanks to the teamwork that the guests’ stay at La Leggenda dei Frati becomes a memorable experience. Filippo Saporito and Ombretta Giovannini have chosen to build a close-knit team, a family with which to share a common vision and in which to grow and enhance the characteristics of each.

He welcomes our guests upon their first arrival. Like a conductor, he coordinates the restaurant brigade with care and attention. He has an in-depth and boundless knowledge of wine and raw materials and is an essential element of La Leggenda dei Frati, he is the one who acts as an agreement between each member.
“This is not a job, it is a passion. It asks a lot and gives a lot. It would be impossible to do this work without the heart”.

Working as a chef de rang, in direct contact with the guests gives her great satisfaction and it is a source of inexhaustible teaching, a professional and personal growth. The passion combined with the discipline allow her to handle even the most critical situations.

His passion for cooking comes from the scent of Sunday meat sauce, cooking magazines scattered around the house and family dishes. He is also deeply linked to the seasonality of the products and tradition.

He has been breathing art since the cradle, his mother is a photographer, his father a set designer and builder of the famous Viareggio carnival floats. From his grandfather, famous painter, he learns the love for drawing and the the knowledge of the use of color, a central element in the creation of his desserts.
“It was a great source of pride to be the youngest Italian master patissier (Ampi)”.
