Ornaghi & Prestinari at La Leggenda dei Frati

We believe that La Leggenda dei Frati is not just a place of cuisine, but a space where thoughts, relationships, and paths take shape. This is why, for years, we have accompanied the daily work of our team with artistic interventions capable of engaging with the environment and the time that inhabits it.

Starting in January 2026, our spaces will host the work of Ornaghi & Prestinari, an Italian artist duo active since 2009. Their practice moves between art, architecture, and craftsmanship, balancing form, gesture, and process.

Valentina Ornaghi and Claudio Prestinari, born and based in Milan, have exhibited in numerous Italian and international institutions, including the Museo del Novecento (Milan), Museo d’Arte Contemporanea di Villa Croce (Genoa), MAMbo (Bologna), Casa Italia – Italian Cultural Institute (New York), and Triennale Milano.

Their work is distinguished by the use of materials such as ceramic, glass, wood, and iron, reinterpreted through a practice that reflects on time, fragility, and the relationship between object and context. An installation designed not to impose, but to accompany — in continuity with our vision of cuisine: made of matter, care, and respect.
